Privacy Policy

Short version: we only use your details to reply to your enquiry. We do not sell your data and we do not run tracking pixels or advertising cookies on this site.

What We Collect

  • Information you submit through the contact form: name, address, town, postcode, phone, email, message, and whether you have WhatsApp.
  • Standard server access logs kept briefly by our hosting provider for security.

How We Use It

  • To reply to your enquiry by WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • To arrange a site visit or electrician safety check if you ask for one.
  • We do not share your details with third parties for marketing.

How Long We Keep It

  • We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us at hello@sandwichsolar.co.uk and we will do it.
  • Access logs follow our hosting provider's standard retention.

Website statistics

We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at hello@sandwichsolar.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@sandwichsolar.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Email Delivery

Contact form messages are delivered through an email delivery service, an email delivery provider. Your message contents pass through their service for the purpose of reaching our inbox. See the provider's own privacy notice for details.
